> 世界上海拔最高、修建难度最大的青藏铁路，于2005年10月12日全线贯通。西藏结束了没有铁路的历史。近日，记者横穿位于海拔4800-5000多米的羌塘草原无人区铁路段，走进了一个特殊的群体…… 　 “线上（轨道上）的修建虽然结束了，这并不意味着青藏铁路的工程已经结束，我们要继续负责路轨的养护任务，这养护工作说起来容易，但做起来很繁琐！比如铁路旁边的绿化，防风固沙，铁路轨道的校直加固等等！”在西藏自治区的安多县，中铁一局青藏铁路铺架项目部的经理马四昌很热情地向记者作了这样的介绍
 养护队员早晨7点起床吃完饭，出发时将自己捂得严严实实，既防止紫外线辐射又可以防寒。这些队员，大多数情况下是每两个队员一组，撒在铁路沿线。由于路途离大本营相对较远，到了中午吃饭的时候，两组比较近的队员凑到一起，拿出自带的馒头就着辣椒躺在铁轨上，一边啃着，一边说笑…… 
　　“我们没有固定的办公地点，一年四季都在外面。我做铁路养护15年了，最多的一年在家里呆了8天。”正在海拔5100米高的扎加藏布养护段干活的李凤祥，说这番话时一脸苦笑。机械化养护常年在野外作业，工人们自己发电，自己做饭。这次在青藏线上作业，买菜、拉饮用水要在400公里以外的安多或者格尔木。“在这里作业，经常是头一天白天测量好的数据，第二天厚厚的积雪盖住了铁路，这时我们就变成了清洁工，扫去积雪让数据重见‘光明’，给机械施工提供保障。”
